The ASU César E. Chávez Leadership Institute has grown up and come of age. We celebrated the 18th class of CCLI in 2012.

It’s time to recognize the program’s strength and success. ¡Viva CCLI! is being established as an annual event that inspires recognition for the success of the program and acknowledges the positive impact made by CCLI alumni.

Please join the celebration on November 8! Meet the leaders who had the vision and established the program in 1995. Get acquainted with CCLI delegates and find out if CCLI is still with them as they’ve become community leaders.

RSVP and provide your contact information by completing the RSVP & Update Info form

It was through the CCLI where I met the individuals who made attaining a higher education a reality and where I first began to see that I might be able to use my life to confront the problems our society faces.

Ray Ybarra

CCLI was the catalyst for everything that has happened in my life since I attended the program. It made me aware of my potential and drove me to attend college.

Richard Franco

The Institute provided a unique blend of activities that allowed us to examine our culture, goals, leadership capabilities, and lives with a dynamic group of individuals. I still cherish many of the relationships forged during CCLI.

Michael Aguirre

CCLI was a life altering experience for me. It shaped me into the person I am today.

Misty Cisneros

CCLI provided me with the foundation and motivated me to seek a higher education after high school. The institute helped further develop and enhance my interest in community service and most importantly refined my leadership skills.
